The case also has a very nice padded leather type handle that's in very good condition. Otherwise the case in great shape, especially for being about 15 to 20 years old. Tl makes the best cases on the planet and their quality is unsurpassed.
All of the hardware works fine, including the hasps and hinges. The plush crushed velvet burgundy interior is super clean and in excellent condition. The only les paul that will not fit is the sag les paul from the 1960's or the les paul recording model that was made in the 1970's.
The strap that holds the lid open, is also still in place and it works properly. There are some scuffs and scratches in the lid and a few small dings in the edge of the Rolex.
There's a lock on the side to secure your guitar while it's being stored or transported. The accessory pocket is also intact and it works fine.
It's the same case that came with a 1999 40th anniversary 1959 flame top reissue tom Murphy les paul standard. These cases were made in canada Tl for Gibson. The lock works fine and the factory key is also included.
