( Brand: Sovereign ), ( Manufacturer Part Number: 1265 ), ( Model: 1265 SOVEREIGN ), ( Type: Hard Case )
This 1967, Harmony, Sovereign guitar is a rare spot on original, I mean original right out of the factory and it has survived all this time. All complete ready for the stage so don't miss out on chance to own this piece of musical history at such a low, price what your getting. That said, this is precisely how these Sovereigns played right out of the factory. So now its a solid nice sounding Sovereign and stage ready for play.
I had some recent work done and for good reason he installed two wood en pillars as support by the sound hole cleat-ted small cracks fore of hole, tightened up all loose Braces in body. I can make out two front numbers barely 77, then it fades off, the end is readable but appears to be 88. This is a terrific folk guitar. But the body and neck matches its a guitar that seem to make it regardless who owned.
As said, the Guitar plays wonderful and appears a little high of action as you play up neck, but its all playable. This is an older guitar, not sure of age because the modal number front sound hole on Fret Board Front, barely readable. All notes are clear and the neck tunes well on its strings. This would be a great guitar for any student enthusiast.
It comes with a nice chip board case that is most likely original, and perfect for keeping the instrument safe handling during transportation. It found a way to Survive all through its life. Then your stage ready. Even on the 12th fret when after its properly tuned which is a testament to quality craftsmanship of these older Sovereign guitars.
This guitar and case combo is perfect for traveling carrying it.
